About ConverZen

A high-performance, multi-tenant, model-agnostic chat server - built in Rust to bridge the gap between solid backend architecture and modern LLMs.

What we build

ConverZen gives every customer chat personas with their own voice, their own knowledge base and their own tools: retrieval-augmented generation grounds them in your content, MCP plugins let them query your live systems, and an embeddable widget brings them to your site. Which LLM does the talking - OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Groq or any OpenAI-compatible provider - is a per-persona setting.

We are currently in our pilot phase, building chat integrations together with selected customers. Want to see what that looks like? Our showcase bots are live, and the pilot page lists the partnership models.

The person behind it

Thomas Runte

Systems Architect & Software Developer

I designed and built ConverZen. Behind it are 30 years of engineering experience - these days with a focus on Rust and LLM integration.

From 1997 to 2012 I led my own software firm as CEO and chief architect. Then I took a multi-year break to sail around the globe; crossing the Atlantic and the Pacific alone takes a kind of preparation and problem-solving that I bring to every codebase I touch. I returned to full-time development in 2018, most recently with the team at Balena, before moving into the AI and Rust space.
